Joseph Arthur

Joseph Arthur's latest EP release "Crazy Rain" ranges form mildly acoustic, to mildly Lo-Fi, it simply amazing; however whenever I hear it I can't stop to wonder if Zach Braff is going to use any of Arthur's songs in any upcoming depression films, completely ruining it for me a big Shins ex-fan, may he die before that.

The Autumns

Angeles native The Autumns released their new album last Tuesday, and although its a fairly new CD it didn't take long for it to be remixed. I've included both versions of Killer in Drag in order to provide both point of views for those Indie lovers, and the Electro Pop lovers. The CD is actually pretty decent; although unfortunately was released the same week as M83's which is freaking awesome.

Ps. These are the Indie Autumns not the other crappy ones.

My Brightest Diamond

The whole world love My Brightest Diamond... what... you don't... are you stupid. Well it was a real surprise whenever I found out that this Brooking native had just released a brand new spanking song, to crate anticipation on her new album due out June 17. This song is has really put a smile and an already stormy day in Texas.

Fischerspooner

Fischerspooner new single has become an instant hit, Since the first time I heard of this single I noticed that although it still embowers the essence of previews tracks, it also brings back in my opinion a strong taste of good ol' electro. Recently I became aware of a new Remix of Fischerspooner's "Dance en France", which i'm sure it will soon become all the rage on the dance floor.

Protokoll & Designer Drugs

Boston based Protokoll has not have a recent release for at least two years, and one of the last time I remember seeing them live was during last years SXSW; whoever said you need a new song to have a nice remix. Moving forward was one of Protokoll greatest hits during the year 2005 Designer Drugs just recently released a fresh new remix which gives awesome song a new take. I’ve decided to post both versions in order to give you (the reader) and idea of how great Designer Drugs are.

M83

Australian M83 will be releasing their new CD "Saturdays=Youth" on April 18th, mean while they've released the single Kim and Jessie, which reminds me of that song "Is this love" form the 80's, the sound of it is really rad, and trust me whenever it comes out I'll will be there to buy it.

sydney confirm

Sydney Confirm is a Dallas area band who are amazing whenever they preform; however this does not happen very often, one of their band member who goes by the pseudonym DISQO DISCO has continued to DJ on the side. DISQO DISCO will be DJing for Its What We Get on April 30th.

Yael Naim

On March 18 the new CD of Yael Naim was released. The French/Israeli singer and song writer has been making a buzz in the music world since Apple played her song in the new MacBook Air commercial, and if you liked that song wait till you hear the rest of the album; it contains songs sang in English, French, and Hebrew. Although the album could may well be categorized as Folk Naim adds to the spice a touch of synth beats which puts the CD along the ranks of Feist and Portishead.
