MMMatthias
Its Wednesday, three days more till Friday, but if you are like me and would rather start your party early you'll be pump when you hear of MMMathias. So what if his face is made out of eggs, whoever is able to take the drag out of Coldplay (notice: I only hate them cause they are boring and cause Zach Braff ruin them for me) has my seal of approval; besides of remixing only the top band out there, MMMathias makes the songs unique and original. Once I got this remixes it gave me an extra pump to get me through the weekend, hope yours is amazing.

Pharrell, Julian Casablancas, Santogold
There is simply no denying that if I would not blog about this, I would not be doing my job right.
I think is epic when talents such as Pharrell Williams(NERD), Julian Casablancas (the Strokes) and Santi White(Santogold), come together and make amazing music; especially if this music is actually made right. Thank God that this three artist hit gold on their latest track "My Drive Thru".This track actually showcases each individual at its best; the song has an 70's rock feel that can be only attributed to Casablancas style, a funky beat who can easily be connected to Pharrell, and the indisputable vocals of Santogold.

Spygirl

Americans have had a love hate relationship with Canada for years, the only place where both counties have been able to seal their differences and come together is on their love for good music. I personally could not care less what beef one country have with another; though I may live in America I'm not an American, so their rules do not apply to me. This week I had the pleasure to listen to something which came to me unexpectedly, for years I've been battling the idea that most of the Alternative Independent music has started to sound alike, and is also quite boring, but who is there to blame blame? Zach Braff of course. However true the past statement is, I was pleasantly surprised to hear something that brought hope in my life, this was the enchanted melody of Spygirl.
Honestly there is not a scientific reason why this band transcends over other bands Alternative/Indie bands out there, most of this other bands have great musicians, beautifully written melodies, and great lead singers; however whenever this 6 person band plays magic happens. I wish I could actually post the song I was planning on posting, but alas the link was not valid so I'm just going to post a video, so you can go and buy their album where ever is available.

Black Kids

The Black kids have been leaving a mark on the music scene since the release of their single, "I'm not going to teach your boy friend how to dance" (log title); since then I've been waiting the release of their new release "Hurricane Jane" do out on June 23. Just like their last single it didn't take long for this unreleased single to be remixed; even better the person who remixed it is the Brazilian duo the Twelves, and like with their previews single the Twelves did an amazing reinterpretation of this song.
